Most companies today have separate systems to manage their content of their website, manage their contacts, send email marketing campaigns and analyze data. With the ever-growing list of products and options in the market these companies are now faced with the biggest challenge ever: how to integrate or make all this systems talk to one another.
As the CTO and co-founder of an innovative marketing company, one of my dreams has always been to have a single system that ties all these channels together and gives marketers full control of their online marketing initiatives. A system that would be intuitive and user friendly and that does not require IT geeks to run it. A system that can help you generate more leads and close more sales. A system that small to medium-sized companies can actually afford.
The primary objective for this redesign was to fulfill my dream to have such a system, therefore, we began to work on this project with the single goal in mind: Integrate our Content Management System (CMS), Email Marketing System, SnapPathfinder, SnapBlog and our eCommerce components with this new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
The end result is an amazing new CRM which integrates all of the above and adds more functionality than ever. For example, you can create multiple user groups which allow you separate web leads from eCommerce customers. You can create password protected sections on your site and create a user group that has access to these pages. You can create a custom list of users and send targeted email campaigns solely to this group. You can make your blog private and give access to a specific group of users. You can add notes to your contacts to remind you of what you've talked to them about. You can set reminders which will alert you when to follow up with them. The list goes on.
Let me give you a real live example of how one of our customers benefited from this integration to generate new sales:
The Belt Shop is a well established manufacturer of conveyor belts in Vancouver. A few weeks ago we help them create an effective email marketing campaign with multiple links to specific landing pages on their site. When the email recipients clicked on these links,The Belt Shop was able to see exactly who they were, what link they clicked on, and what they had done on their website (including what pages they visited). Having gathered this intelligence on their prospects, they proactively called them and engaged them.
This type of marketing intelligence would never have been possible without this integration. Think of this new CRM as the backbone of your online marketing system.
